Report-only, by the limits of TikTok's API

TikTok is the one platform where ClickLens cannot push an exclusion at all. TikTok's advertiser API has no way to exclude a placement domain or an IP, and its Events API cannot take a conversion back. So the TikTok integration is honest about what it is: a reporting tool. ClickLens still scores your TikTok traffic and flags the worst sources; it just hands you the list instead of claiming a sync that the platform would not allow.

TikTok reporting is on the Growth plan and above.

Capabilities

Capability Supported How
IP exclusions No TikTok has no advertiser-side IP exclusion.
Placement exclusions Report-only No API excludes arbitrary domains. ClickLens reports flagged placements for you to apply manually.
Conversion adjustment Report-only The Events API is append-only: a conversion keyed by ttclid cannot be retracted.

Connect your account

Go to Settings → Integrations and connect TikTok Ads. The connection lets ClickLens read your account so it can attribute flagged sessions and build the placement report. It does not grant any exclusion that TikTok does not expose to advertisers.

How the report works

  1. You request a TikTok sync. ClickLens gathers your flagged placement rules.
  2. It builds a report of those placements rather than calling any exclusion API, because none exists for web domains.
  3. The response makes the position explicit: synced: 0, report-only, with the placements listed for you to act on.

Conversions are report-only

TikTok's Events API is append-only and keyed by ttclid; it has no adjustment or retraction endpoint. ClickLens scores every TikTok conversion the same as on any platform and shows you the fraudulent ones in the dashboard, but it cannot write the correction back to TikTok. The scoring is identical across platforms; only the write-back differs — see conversion protection.

Limitations

  • No automated exclusion of any kind. TikTok exposes neither IP nor placement exclusion to advertisers.
  • No conversion retraction. The Events API is append-only.
  • The value here is the prioritised report and the scoring behind it, not an automated push.

FAQ

Why does TikTok sync always show zero synced?

Because nothing was synced, and ClickLens will not claim otherwise. TikTok has no advertiser API to exclude domains or IPs, so the sync returns the flagged placements as a report and a synced count of zero.

Isn’t there a TikTok block list?

TikTok’s only block list, Pangle, accepts app bundle identifiers, not the web publisher domains ClickLens flags. So it cannot carry a domain exclusion, and ClickLens does not pretend it can.

What do I do with the report, then?

Use it as a prioritised list. The reported placements are the domains driving your worst TikTok traffic; review them against your campaign placements and exclude them by hand where TikTok’s interface allows.
